Pool & Spa Inspection Contract

The scope of my inspection includes a limited visual inspection inspection of the pool electrical system, primary circulation system, pool barrier system, the pool interior surface, and surrounding deck.  The standards used to inspect this pool will be the Texas Real Estate Commissions Standards of Practice for Swimming Pools and Spas.  A copy of these standards is available on request.  The inspector is not a pool or spa specialists.  We do not dismantle components such as filters, pumps, and heaters. We estimate water chemistry using test strips. We test the normal operation of pool cleaners, pumps, blowers, heaters, and lights. We do not operate control valves, chemical injectors or perform pressure tests on the plumbing. As this is a visual inspection of the accessible areas no determination can be made as to leaks in the shell or undermining the supporting soil. Pools and spas may have inherent defects not visible at the time of the inspection. If the pool is filled with water at the time of the inspection it is inherently difficult to determine the exact condition of the pool surfaces. This report is based upon the current condition of the pool/spa and does not reflect future conditions that may yet arise. All the findings in this report are time sensitive and do not survive past the time of the inspection.

The inspecting firm ,makes no representation as to existing conditions of the pool/spa and related equipment other than as set forth herein and observable by inspection in the manner set forth above. The inspecting firm makes no warranties expressed or implied, relating to the present condition of the pool/spa and /or equipment or suitability for continued service. Any party relying on this report understands that the liability of the inspecting firm, arising from the inspection on which this report is based, shall be limited to the amount of the inspection fee paid. The inspector does not determine compliance with the residential pool/spa standards of the National Spa and Pool Institute, or with local building codes or ordinances, except as specifically noted. The issuance of this report does not imply that the pool/spa is in compliance with such standards, codes or ordinances.

The inspection fee is $50

I Have read, understand, and agree to the above conditions.
